Background
Worldwide Medical Technologies is a medical manufacturer with pre-eminence in product and process innovation. They are well-known and highly regarded for revolutionizing radiology for the treatment of prostate cancer. However, many in the industry did not realize that WWMT also provided a broad range of other cancer treatment products and pharmacy services for delivery of those products. As a result, WWMT was “pigeonholed” as a one-product company and was not able to recruit the very best talent in the industry.
Solution
Signature Brand Factory was engaged to address this issue and immediately went to work exploring for points of differentiation. Given WWMT’s broader-than-perceived product and service offerings, the team strung together a series of stories demonstrating WWMT’s prowess across the entire treatment spectrum. These “nuggets” naturally fit into a teaser campaign which ran in major trade pubs under the banner “More than You Might Imagine.”
Results
The advertising campaign developed by Signature became the talk of the industry and recruitment consultants reported than an increasing number of applicants inquired about working at WWMT. Additionally, the campaign raised the level of attention to the company by the trade press and instilled pride throughout the WWMT organization.
